Size Matters [Opinion]

Back in 2009, I took four years off from radio and went on the adventure of driving truck all over this great nation of ours. I learned a lot during that time, how to protect myself in certain areas, managing an intense schedule of drops and pick ups, but most of all, keeping myself, others and my equipment safe.

It's obvious, trucks are big. They're tall as well. The tallest point of my rig stood 13 feet, 3 inches, which meant there were certain places I could not go. If my route consisted of a low clearance, I had to find a way around. It's just the way it is.

This driver is just an idiot. Not only did they NOT put they're equipment back in to traveling mode, but they were stupid enough to travel for who only knows how far without noticing their dump bed was still raised.

There is NO REASON the accident in the video should have happened. It gives truckers a bad name and I am not cool with that. What's your take?
