If you're like me, getting tired in the middle of the day while you are at work is an everyday thing.  You've tried eating less for lunch.  I fail at that every time I walk past the Burger Dive downtown. Or you might try not eating lunch at all, and maybe going for a walk now that the weather is nice.  Now there's a "sure cure" for lack of energy while you are at work.  And it's not at all what you might expect.

Dr. Sherrie Bourg Carter, writing in Psychology Today, suggests that your tight clothing can cause reduced energy throughout the day. Here's why.

Tight clothing restricts normal breathing reducing the amount of oxygen going to our brain and muscles. It's pretty simple, the less oxygen your cells get, the more tired we feel. I'd never have a problem without a solution: Wear stylish, comfortable clothing, and remind yourself to breathe deeply throughout your day.  The deep breathing works really well when you're feeling stressed. Deep breathing is a free and fast energy booster and stress-reliever.
