See What You Missed at This Year’s Yellowstone Art Museum Summerfair

Another fabulous weekend in the Magic City!  I attended my first ever Yellowstone Art Museum Summerfair and got to experience so many fabulous artists and their works.

We made it over to Veterans Park mid Saturday afternoon; found a parking spot within a half mile (no one told me that most of Billings would be there) and made the trek the gate. This has to be one of the better deals I found this weekend…the $3 admission was good for both Saturday and Sunday. My guess is they hope you see something on Saturday that you want to buy, deliberate over it and then come back on Sunday.

What a great event. Hats off to the Y.A.M. for putting on a fun event. The number of artisans with their work on display was so much fun. And they did a great job of providing activities for the kids, plenty of food options and some terrific weather.

This is the largest fundraiser for the Art Museum. They us the majority of the funds from Summerfair to fund0 their educational programs and support yearly operating costs.

Our only problem is we were short on time to spend at Summerfair because of a prior commitment. So I've already marked next year’s event on my calendar on my smart phone so we can plan to spend more time there.
