I am originally from Los Angeles, but grew up in Edmonton, Alberta. In between I spent two years of my childhood in Montana. One in Great Falls and the other in Havre. My mom married a Canadian when I was 9, and we moved to Canada. Because the winters in Edmonton were too damn cold, I moved back to California once I was 21. My radio career has taken me to Casa Grande, Ariz., and to Palm Springs, Fresno and San Luis Obispo, Calif., and back to Edmonton, and Yakima. I play poker, basketball and flag football in my free time. My claim to fame is that my wife Monica is sisters with the former Miss El Salvador 1996, who came in sixth in that year's Miss Universe competition. Of course I think my wife is prettier than her sister! I also have a 12-year-old daughter named Noel who is in junior high and was the fifth-grade champion high jumper.

In Montana We Drink The 4th Most Beer Per Person… But Why?
I've spent many hours and days pondering this question... over a tall frosty cold brewski! Philosophers have stated... ummm... well... I got nothin'. Hold on, after a few more sips it may come to me.... Ahhhh. I think I have it now... Here are the top 3 reasons we enjoy the volume of the nectar of the gods that we do:

Thrifting… Hobby Or Sickness?
My co-worker Rick thinks I've become one of "those people"... the kind who go to thrift stores and garage sales and buy knick-knacks and become hoarders. Oh contrare... I do go to thrift stores like Montana Rescue Mission, Salvation Army and St...

Chris Young Crowd Pics [VIDEO]
Prior to the kickoff of the Chris Young concert at Metra Park I had a chance to say hello to all of my adoring fans... the ones who've actually heard of me... yes, both of them. Lol. Actually I got to bribe all of our listeners into liking me and there is no better way to do that than by giving stuff away so I was signing people up to win tickets to the PRCA Rodeo coming up later this week at the
My Thrift Store Find Of The Week
This week at our local thrift stores I hit the mother lode! I'm always able to find something cool here and there but this time I found a pair of Danish modern lounge chairs from either the late 50's or mid 60's. They have the signature armrest, angled legs and circular dowels in the back...
Alive After 5 At Pug Mahon’s!
It's been awhile since Pug Mahon's hosted Alive After 5 but tonight was one of the best! The warm weather kept the adult libations flowing but the crowd managed to behave themselves. I was particularly happy because it was right next to my favorite pizza place...
Why Montana Is The Best Place In The World
If you look at today's headlines you'll notice that Hurricane Iselle is bearing down on the Hawaiian Islands (specifically the Big Island) with Hurricane Julio, taking the same trajectory, right behind it. In the meantime, while waiting to get pummeled by 2 Hurricanes, the fine people of Waimea on the Big Island's eastern shore had their nerves rattled with a 4.5 magnitude earthquake early this mo

Introducing The Newest SyFy Network Thriller (Not Really) Grizzlyquake!
You may have heard that Sharknado 2: "The Second One" debuted on the SyFy Network to 3.9 Million viewers making it the networks most popular original movie ever.
