Billings Crime

If you haven't heard or just choose to ignore it, crime is up in our area. It's got a lot to do with drugs and people stealing things to sell to get drugs.

I encourage everybody to be more vigilant. I have been in my neighborhood. If I see a car in a driveway that I don't recognize I go ask them who they are and what they are doing there. Being nosy? You bet I am!

And my neighbors have called me when they've seen somebody at my place when I'm not home.

I also read a post on Facebook from a dispatcher urging folks to not let their vehicles run unattended when it's cold. Criminals are getting very aggressive and auto theft is also up in our town.

Be a better neighborhood watcher. I'm trying to be.
