Denver Broncos Replace Dallas Cowboys as ‘America’s Team’
Since 1978, the Dallas Cowboys have been known as 'America's Team,' but that title now seems to belong to the Denver Broncos.
A recent survey conducted by The Harris Poll asked 2,543 adults who their two favorite NFL teams are.
Taking the top spot away from the Cowboys for the first time in six years was the Denver Broncos, led by future Hall of Fame quarterback Peyton Manning.
The Cowboys dropped all the way down to fourth on the list. Here's the top five, according to The Harris Poll:
- Denver Broncos
- New York Giants
- Green Bay Packers
- Dallas Cowboys
- Pittsburgh Steelers
The nationwide poll was conducted between September 10 and 17.
America's least favorite team -- no surprise -- was the Jacksonville Jaguars.
