I'm not sure how these little suckers got into my apartment but I've been invaded by gnats. I spray them and I squish them and they keep coming back. My apartment is spotless and I'm cleaning every dish the moment it gets dirty but they still keep coming and just hang around the kitchen and bathroom.

So I used my powers of deduction to figure out that they must be coming from the drain. The first thing I did was pour a gallon of bleach to kill any critters that may be hatching in there. But there were still some inside the kitchen.

I searched the internet and found a way to trap them. In the picture above no doubt you've noticed the red solution. It is red wine vinegar and a few drops of dish soap. Apparently the vinegar attracts them and the soap doesn't allow them to fly off after they've tasted the nectar they crave. As you can see, it was quite successful.

There are still one or two lurking around so maybe they know it's a trap. If they don't drink the Kool-Aid I may have to take them out by force!
