You Need to Hear This Amazing Heartwarming Montana Story
Every once in a while, I read a story that reminds me of how much good is left in the world. This story about a little girl that lost her stuffed animal at a state park in Montana is a perfect example.
It doesn't take much to get sucked down the rabbit hole of mainstream news. To be honest, all of the negativity in the world today can be overwhelming and depressing. You rarely hear good news unless you take the time to find it for yourself.
Thanks to Montana Fish, Wildlife, and Parks, we have an incredibly heartwarming story to tell you about. It's about the adventures of "Miffy", a stuffed animal that was left behind by a family that recently visited Lewis & Clark Caverns State Park.
Lost Stuffed Animal Turns Into Inspiring Story
Miffy, a blue stuffed bunny, belongs to Lulu, a 4-year-old girl. Miffy got left behind at Lewis & Clark Caverns State Park while the family was vacationing from Washington. By the time the family realized that Miffy was missing, they were already in the Tetons. Needless to say, Lulu was heartbroken.
Her mother left a voicemail with the caverns that night, and thankfully, she received a text the next morning from a staff member at the caverns saying that Miffy had been found. Unfortunately, it would be another week before the family could make it back to Montana, and Miffy and Lulu could be reunited.
To help ease Lulu’s mind, park staff Ramona, Lorie, Katherine and Brian took Miffy on several adventures in the park.
Here's what Montana FWP said about Miffy's adventures;
She learned about rattlesnakes, went bird watching, helped with groundskeeping (and even got to ride on the mower!), and also completed the Junior Ranger activity booklet to become a full-fledged Junior Ranger. During this time of separation, Lulu and Miffy exchanged messages via their caretakers with photos of their adventures. After a week apart, Lulu and Miffy were reunited on their return journey.
Lulu's mom sent an email to Montana FWP staff expressing her appreciation.
The effort and kindness of the park employees was ABOVE AND BEYOND. It was incredibly heartwarming and kind and helped our daughter get through our trip. We ultimately looped back to the caverns and were able to meet these amazing rangers and thank them.
