The Absolute Best Dive Bars in Billings According to You
Yesterday was National Dive Bar Day, and despite what others may think is a negative connotation, dive bars have become a staple in every city because of their large local crowds, typically cheaper drinks, and staff that have worked there for a long time. Billings is no exception, and we have an amazing number of old, tried, and true bars that everyone loves. Let's take a look at some of your favorites from social media.
Tiny's Tavern
In our most commented bar, people love Tiny's for their food and their awesome Orange Crush drinks, which you can take to go. When I spoke with them in March regarding the recipe for them, they kept it a secret. Just give them a try, and you won't be disappointed. Also, their patio is amazing.
Rainbow Bar
Located on historic Montana Avenue, the Rainbow Bar is nearly 90 years old. The 'Bow, as it's known, has had a huge number of regulars over the years, and they're still open serving patrons new and old every weekend.
Tap Inn
The iconic jousting lance outside of the Tap Inn is iconic; it's been around since 1953 and is still going strong with a dedicated group of regulars.
Andy's Bar
Andy's has been downtown for around 35 years. Along with the live music, they also feature weekly drink specials, as well as a good amount of machines for those who like to gamble. Overall, such a cozy bar.
Club 90
Club 90 is full of character and has been for the better part of 25 years. The family-run bar has all the characteristics that make a dive bar what it is, and not only that but it's been frequented by folks for a ton of time. Give it a shot if you're on Grand Avenue.
These were the top five based on comments on our social media page. If you think we missed any, please let us know. Happy Late National Dive Bar Day everybody. Have fun and be safe this weekend.
