I don't have to be the smartest guy in the room, I just need to be able to find the smartest guy in the room. For election night numbers, that guy is Montana's own Evan Wilson.

If you were following me on X on election night Tuesday, you may have seen a couple tweets that I sent out around 10:15 p.m. Montana time. Say it with me now- PRESIDENT Donald J. TRUMP. Kamala Harris is underperforming in Philly, and Trump is doing well in the bellwether Bucks County. Trump has won Pennsylvania. Trump will be the 47th president.

I sent out those tweets over an hour before the race had been called for Trump in Pennsylvania. Why was I so willing to send out such a bold tweet? Evan Wilson. This guy knows the numbers and he knows elections. And he's just an all around great guy who loves M-O-N-T-A-N-A.

Evan is a prominent pollster with a national polling firm called Peak Insights. He's a Billings Senior High and University of Montana Griz Grad, and the son of the late Dr. Craig Wilson who used to head up the MSU-Billings political science department. Evan has a long track record in Montana Politics

Last week, I had his colleague- Peak Insights President Erik Iverson- on the radio. Iverson is also a longtime Montana politico and Montana State Bobcat grad who did polling all across the country this cycle.

He gave us a few predictions last week on the radio: he said CI-126 and 127 would fail. He said Tim Sheehy would defeat Jon Tester, and that statewide Republicans like the governor would all be re-elected. That all came to pass. He's also the same guy who correctly polled Iowa, Pennsylvania, and Georgia to the percentile. (Seltzer anyone?)

Iverson joined us on the day after election day for our LIVE radio show from the Rockin R in Bozeman. Here's the audio:

And here's those tweets about President Trump winning Pennsylvania that I mentioned:
