One Year Ago Today

Today may be Groundhog's Day but today has a whole new meaning for me. Today marks the one year anniversary that I said goodbye to my mom.

My mother was a beautiful human being inside and out. Her sweet spirit is greatly missed and I often smile at the thought of her unique quirks. She was there for me no matter what and would always stand up for what was right. She was also a very spiritual person who inspired me to be the best I could be...but always to remember where I came from.

I love you mom and things haven't been the same since you left this world, but know that your legacy lives on.
