Remember To VOTE Tomorrow
I hear a lot of people complain about the government and I hear a lot of people complain about the people who complain about the government. The best way to make your voice heard is to exercise your civic duty and VOTE in tomorrow's mid-term elections. If you haven't registered yet remember in Montana you can register at the same time as you vote so don't let that stop you.
Ironically one of the ballot initiatives is LR-126 which would abolish same day registration. I blogged my opposition to this initiative a couple of weeks ago. Some comments were that it encourages voter fraud although I don't see what difference registering the same day versus 30 days ahead makes. Another comment was that it slows down the voting process and causes people to have to wait in line longer... although the person making that complaint admitted that where he votes it doesn't affect him. So I'll take my iPhone camera with me tomorrow to see if here in the more heavily populated Billings area if that actually makes a difference in regard to wait times.
Remember, next to serving in our armed forces, voting is the most patriotic thing you can do. There would be no American Exceptionalism without voting.
