Let's start with the things that I assume you already know about. Like the Parade in Laurel and the huge fireworks there on the 4th.  Then there's the 3 days of parades in Red Lodge, July 2-3-4 starting at noon each day. And their rodeo too.

But are aware of all the stuff going on in Roundup? July 2nd features Cowboy Church, a civil war experience a carnival, and possibly the ONLY Teddy Roosevelt impersonator in America.  July 3rd had the world’s best Beatles tribute band along with fireworks.  Then, on the 4th they have a rodeo, the carnival (from 11-9), and music from Paulette Carlson who was with Highway 101 and also David Frizzell & Friends.

If you want to get out of the house this holiday weekend, but don't want to wander very far, you've got a lot of options.
