What I NEED To Do Vs. What I’m GOING To Do

Being a homeowner with a good sized yard and a lot of things to change oil in, I've got quite a list of things that need to be done. I need to change oil in a couple of vehicles. I need to go thru and get the landscaping cleaned up. I need to mow. I need to get the garage cleaned up and in turn get the Big Green Egg up for sale. (Bought a Taeger and love it.) I also need to touch up some paint on the house, clean windows and probably about a dozen other things that I could get around to doing.

But I'm not doing any of those. I'm going to spend the weekend with my mom and step mom. I'm fortunate to have two ladies who helped raise me. They get credit for teaching me everything from how to iron a shirt to the goulash recipe that I still use today.

We will also spend some time counting our blessings.
