Why Doesn’t Montana Get Fires the Way California Does?

California experiences gusty wind every year at this time and every year they get dozens of fires. We have areas in Montana that get 40 to 70 mph winds year-round in heavily dry forested areas and we don't get the fires. Places like Livingston, Nye, and Browning--dozens of places with power no fires. I really believe that many of these fires are being intentionally set by someone. We get hot and dry here, so does Oregon, so does Washington and Idaho, but every year dozens all within the weeks in California. It seems suspicious to me.
