$5 Billion and 15 Years To Fix Wild Horse Problem

The BLM said this week they need $5 billion and 15 years to get the wild horse population under control. Birth control is the answer they say. Okay, so if it works, how long will it take for 50,000 horses to die naturally? This problem will go on and on unless they cull the herd. Not to mention, in the meantime it will ruin the habitat. If ranchers over-grazed these lands they would be in jail. Their policies created the problem now they can keep working another 15 years to fix it, then retire, and we'll pay them until they die. No wonder we're broke.
