A Childhood Dream Comes to Billings Tomorrow
I grew up in the 80's and was somewhat of a game show junkie. If I was out sick from school, I'd be on the couch watching shows like Card Sharks, Sale of the Century, Wheel of Fortune, Hollywood Squares, Press Your Luck, Tic Tac Dough and, of course, the granddaddy of them all, The Price Is Right. I've spent a lot of time yelling at my screen at people making bad choices, thinking about the thousands of dollars, vacations, appliances and cars I might win if only I had the chance.
Well, Friday, October 9, a close facsimile heads to town. The Price Is Right Live Stage Show will be at the Alberta Bair. I'm not sure how many people will show up for registration, but I'll be headed over to get signed up at 4 p.m. You don't have to purchase a ticket in order to get selected, but if you want to see the action regardless of whether or not you're on stage, you can get tickets here.
If you do get picked, please don't be the jerk that bids $1 higher than somebody in contestants' row. It's just mean.
