Heading toward the holiday weekend and the Easter Bunny is going to be pretty busy. Here are places you might want to take the kids this year to do a little searching. The opportunities are compiled from a number of sources, so you might want to check ahead first.

Saturday, April 23, 2011 from 11:40 AM to 1:00 PM the Tree of Life Wesleyan Church 3620 Custer Avenue is having their 8th Annual Easter Egg Hunt free to everyone. There's free hot dogs, drawings for prizes such as toys, baskets, games, and bikes. Egg hunt is open to ages up to 12. Registration starts at 11:40 and egg hunt starts at noon.

Faith Evangelical Church Easter Egg Hunt is Saturday on the church grounds near the corner of Central and 32nd on the West End. The hunt is scheduled to go from 10am-11am. Rob Johnson is the church contact at

Huntley Project Lions Club has a hunt at the Experiment Station in Huntley at 1pm. This one is for kids 8 and younger.

There's a hunt Saturday morning at 10am at Montana State University. You'll find it on the Rimrock Side of the parking lot behind the Liberal Arts building at the school.

There are hunts going on in the City Parks too. You'll find them at noon at South Park, Optimist Park at Noon and Castlerock Park at 1p.m.

The Laurel Jaycees is sponsoring a Easter egg hunt at Thompson Park. The Laurel Jaycees have got LOTS of prize Easter Baskets to give away to the lucky egg winners! There will be a couple of bikes as TOP Prizes. Lots of candy and lots of fun for a total of about 2 minutes! Easter Bunny will be there!

Emmanuel Baptist Church at 1325 Lewis Avenue will be hunting Saturday from 11 am to 1 pm. EBC is picking up the event at Lewis and Clark Middle School. The Rock Church held the annual event for years until the church moved to their permanent home in Laurel

This year, the 7th Annual Easter Egg Hunt will be larger than ever with over 30,000 eggs to find. In addition to the egg hunt there will be games, inflatables, food, and prizes.
