I spent a lot of time in church as a kid, but it wasn't really a habit that carried on into my adult life. Like many non-churchgoers, Christmas is one of those occasions that puts me back in the pew. In the case of Faith Chapel, I suppose it puts me back in the theater seating.

Anyway, for those involved in putting together the multitude of services for the Christmas holiday, I just wanted to say thank you. I enjoyed the service, as did my family. Pastor Nate does an excellent job of making "outsiders" feel welcome which is not the case for many churches I have visited. I'm specifically mentioning Faith Chapel because that is where we happened to land, but I know from several friends that our area has many welcoming churches and, regardless of what your spiritual beliefs are, these kind of environments are good for people and our community.

Often we tend to focus on negative stories because that is what we are fed and churches and religious figures are not immune to bad publicity (sometimes deservedly so), but it's nice to take a moment to remember that most churches, regardless of faith, are full of people who wish to better themselves and the world around them.
