Damn This Weather!

So I had this grand plan to get out of Dodge this weekend. I'm a tournament poker player and the closest place that has regular poker tournaments (not like the once a month per casino that they're allowed to hold them here in Montana) is South Dakota. I was planning an overnight trip to Deadwood. I've also never seen the Black Hills or Mount Rushmore and so I was very excited.

Because the temps will finally be perfect I figured I could count on great driving conditions... until I found out that in Deadwood they are currently digging their way out of 3 feet of snow. Ugh. I'm told that even 4 days of much warmer than freezing weather won't melt that much white stuff. I feel like a little kid who has been told his trip to Disneyland was cancelled.
