Downtown Billings Association Loans Bikes For Free

Their Loan-A-Bike program, sponsored by Peaks to Plains Design and Yellowstone Naturopathic Clinic loans bikes for use fee free! The Downtown Billing Association's aim is to get you to think of bicycles as efficient, practical transportation, as well as recreation. They loan out Cannondale bicycles (great brand) and provide locks and helmets free of charge. Use it to run errands downtown or to get in a little exercise during the day while enjoying big sky country!

If you borrow a bike this week (Bike, Walk, Bus Week) and hit certain downtown microbreweries you could double your pleasure with a free brewski! (See last week's post here)

Just stop by the Downtown Billings offices during business hours at 2815 2nd Ave. North with your photo I.D. , a credit card or debit card and a yearning for some fresh air. There is no charge for the use of the bike but they will take an imprint of the card in case the bike, lock or helmet goes missing or isn't returned.
