The Department Of Homeland Security has announced plans to buy 62.5 million rounds of .223 Remington ammunition, according to Infowars.com.

These will be used by U.S. Customs and Border Protection agents for "training" purposes. The article that I read, in Infowars.com, mentioned that this type of bullet was used in the AR-15 and Mini-14. It's also used in several bolt action rifles, as it is an extremely popular hunting caliber. But, in this particular article, they didn't list any of those.

Big Brother has also been buying more than 400,000 rounds of .40 S&W shells, a half million rounds of 7.62 x 39mm shells, 25 million 12 gauge shells, 24 million rounds of .357 SIG, and 95,000 rounds of 9mm Luger and 115 grain, jacketed hollow points.

This administration hasn't gotten control of the guns. It has just made ammo scarce in some calibers, and what you can get, has jumped up in price considerably.

I'll do the math for you. Over the past two years, our government has bought enough ammo to fight a 32-year war. If you get a chance to speak directly with one of our congressmen, be sure and have them try to explain that one.

As for me, I'm going to buy some more .223 today.
