Garbage Pick Up Will Be Delayed Next Week By One Day

Due to the Memorial Day holiday the City of Billings has announced that garbage pick up next week will be delayed one day. So, if you are like me and you are panicking in the morning to make sure you roll out your can on time you can relax because you have one more day. If you have been going through a spring cleaning or you are clearing out tree trimmings or doing some renovation and have been planning a run to the landfill it will be closed next Monday as well.

If, like me, you are dumb enough to let meat in your fridge go bad then just throw it in the freezer and remember to throw it in the garbage one day later than normal so it won't thaw out before the city garbage truck comes. I learned the hard way by throwing away chicken breast the night before and ended up with a can full of maggots. Gross!
