This is no exception this week as Miranda Lambert brings her show to Rimrock Auto Arena at MetraPark this Friday. My heart pounds with excitement every time I have the opportunity to go to a concert. It's the same today as it was when I was 5 years old and got to see the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band at the fair in my hometown.

This was my first concert ever and I'll never forget it. The feel of the singing right at me and pounding of the music on my chest was a sensation like no other. When they sang "Fishing In The Dark" I thought I had died and gone to heaven.

I was hooked and have never looked back. At that moment, I knew I had to work in music in some way and I thank the good Lord above that I do. It truly is an adrenaline rush for me.
