Attention all 80's and 90's kids! Chuck E. Cheese Is Opening Arcades for Adults!

This is a thing. Not a thing here...yet....but it is a thing. Chuck E. Cheese is opening a brand-new chain of arcades for adults.  The first of the 10 "Chuck's Arcades" opened this week in various malls across the U.S.  What are they you ask? Well they are basically just scaled-down versions of their normal restaurants.  Each one of the adult arcades has a mix of new games like "Halo", and old ones like "Asteroids".

They're basically just a normal arcade like you used to see in EVERY mall.  But some of them will also serve food and alcohol. A lot of regular old Chuck E. Cheese locations also serve beer and wine. So that is not really new.

Kids are welcome too and is still a place where a kid can be a kid but with it geared more to us big kids.  They are really trying to sell the "adult" angle in their press release, calling the new spin-off a "modern-day love letter to the games and people who made Chuck E. Cheese great."

The nostalgia grabs and classic games kind of seem like the ONLY parts that make this an "adult" arcade.  Other than those, it is really just a just scaled-down versions of what you'd see at a normal Chuck E. Cheese.

Here is the terrifying I mean exciting part each of the locations will also have an original member of Chuck E. Cheese's animatronic band on display. So, you can take pictures and show your kids and friends how TERRIFYING it was to be a kid in the '80s and '90s! So much trauma from so many birthday parties there.

FUN FACT: Chuck E. Cheese here in Billings opened on August 6th way back in 1984. They removed all animatronics except for Chuck E. in 2024.
