I'm out of the dating game... thankfully.

Dating in Montana can be an adventure filled with natural beauty and unique experiences. With stunning national parks, ski resorts, and charming small towns, there are plenty of opportunities for outdoor activities and romantic getaways. Traditionally a steak-n-potatoes kind of state, in recent years Montana's food and drink scene have evolved, with locally-sourced ingredients and craft brews being a highlight in many restaurants.

That said, I am SO glad I'm not in the dating scene anymore, because according to recent data shared by Wallethub.com, Montana ranks near the bottom when it comes to the best states for singles.

Sure, there are lots of things to do.

For those who love the great outdoors, Montana offers a range of options from fishing and hunting to hiking and camping. Whether you're looking for a quiet stroll through the park or a heart-pumping adrenaline rush, you'll find it in the Treasure State. Winter sports are also a popular pastime, and we've got plenty of bars for mingling opportunities.

But it turns out Montana isn't great for finding that someone special. In fact, we're ranked 10th from the bottom for best states for singles.

It could be worse. You could live in North Dakota.

Wallethub.com ranked each state based on a variety of factors, including three key dimensions: 1) Dating Economics, 2) Dating Opportunities, and 3) Romance & Fun. A big ding for Montana is a simple fact that most people here are already married. They noted that we rank 43rd in the nation for the percentage of single adults. We also fared poorly for mobile dating app opportunities, coming in at 48th. Here are the states that ranked worse than Montana for dating:
