Let’s Go Back To One Plate

As I understand it, Montana is a "2 Plate State". Where you are required by law to have both a front and rear plate displayed on your vehicle.

And for me, I wish we would go back to just having to have a rear plate only.

Several folks in law enforcement have told me that it's a safety issue. And how it's easier to find "bad guys" with 2 plates.

I can their points, but I still think we could get by just fine with one. I've got a vehicle that looks hideous with a front plate. And I'm not a criminal, so it shouldn't be an issue.
