New MoAV Coffee House Now Open; Panera Bread Coming To Billings
A locally-owned coffee franchise cut their "grand opening" ribbon on a second location, while paperwork has been submitted to bring a popular soup and sandwich chain to town.
MoAV Coffee House opened a second shop earlier this month at 1400 S. 24th Street West off of Gabel Road. A coffee shop and roasting company, MoAV opened their first location in 2015 on the corner of Montana Avenue and N. 25th Street in downtown Billings.
And just up 24th street, building permits were filed to bring Billings' first Panera Bread to a location near the Winco grocery store. According to KTVQ, Ryan Restaurants plans to build the restaurant at 110 S. 24th Street West, but no date was given on when it may open.
Panera Bread opened it's first Montana restaurant last year in Kalispell with a Missoula location also in the works. According to a KBZK report, Panera Bread plans to have seven restaurants in Montana by the end of 2021.
With headquarters just outside St. Louis, Missouri, Panera Bread has more than 2,000 restaurants nationwide and offers sandwiches, soups, salads, and a huge bakery selection.
