There are five Montana performers who will have the chance to sing the National Anthem at the Big Sky State Games opening ceremonies, and you will play a part in selecting who gets the opportunity.
Montana summers may be short, but we get the most out of every day with a never ending list of events you and your family can attend. This weekend is no exception with more things to do than time to do it.
As promised, I went to the horse show at the Super Barn on Sunday. I thought I would be able to come back and write a compelling account of the events I witnessed, but there is a problem: I had no idea what was going on. I love events like this because you get to see many of our "Average Joe's" showing off their skills. There are so many competitors, there's a pretty good chance that someone you know is taking part, so get out there and cheer them on. My kid enjoys playing ping pong, so we'll at least try to catch that event at Rimrock Mall, but hopefully make it out to at least a couple others over the next two weekends.

And if you are headed to Glacier Park, the word is that they are also extremely crowded...
I think that a lot of folks know that the Big Sky State Games are held in Billings every year, and some even know that THIS is the weekend. What you may not have known is that this event brings some 10,000 people to our town. And that is going to mean long lines at restaurants
