2016 is a big year of milestones for country music.  Not only are we celebrating 50 years of the Country Music Awards, but the Country Music Hall Of Fame and Museum also turn 50 this year.  Needless to say, Nashville is making a huge deal for these special anniversaries and the stars from yesterday and today are joining forces to create an incredible piece of music.

Mark and Paul have already talked about the historic, soon to be released, Forever Country and tomorrow morning they'll be playing it around 6:30 a.m.  This song will feature 30 CMA Award winners and that's where you have a chance to test your musical knowledge for a chance to win a trip to see the incredible 50th annual CMA Awards in Nashville on November 2nd.

The contest is simply this:  Log on to catcountry1029.com and name as many of the 30 artists as you can when you submit your entry.  We don't want anyone trying to write down names while they're driving, so we're going to give you the ability to listen to the song on the website as many times as you'd like to help you identify the artists.  We'll also be playing the song on Cat Country at various time through the weekend.

Of course, with the biggest single in country music history comes the biggest country music video.  You can see the world wide debut of the Forever Country video during Tuesday (9/20) night's "Dancing With The Stars".  After the video premiere, visit tasteofcountry.com for a chance to see an exclusive behind the scenes "making of" video.

We're proud of the music we play and are grateful to celebrating 50 years of amazing artists who not only make what we do possible, but make it enjoyable.  Thanks to MCA Nashville for making this possible.
