The Top Five Muscle Cars I Hope to see At Burn The Point
I'm not what you would call a gear head by any means, but I have a great respect for American Muscle Cars. The older I get, the less likely it seems that I will actual own one of these classics, but since Burn The Point is coming up, I thought I'd post my dream list. These are the cars that I always drool over when I check out a classic car show.
As a side note, I got pretty specific with some of these models and don't expect to see some of the "ultra rare" cars, but I'd settle for anything that comes close.
Number 5: 1969 Camaro ZL1
There are those who say that Camaros and Mustangs aren't muscle cars, but I'm not smart enough to have that debate. All I know is, I would love to drive this car. This video I pulled up actually shows Chevy's modern ZL1 vs. a '69 "Red Devil". Guess who had the fastest lap time?
Number 4: 1969 Mustang Boss 429
I have never seen one of these super rare cars in person. One sold recently for about 260,000 bucks
Number 3: 1968 Roadrunner 426 Hemi
No frills...lots of muscle
Number 2: 1967 GTO Judge
This is No. 1 for a lot of muscle car fanatics. They look cool and sound angry.
Number 1: 1970 440 Six Pack 'Cuda
If I ever win the lottery, this will be my first eBay search.
That's my list. Feel free to comment on your favorite. If you need some info on Burn The Point, get the history and event information here.
