Then There Was Prom!
Well there were many things going on last weekend here in the Magic City. St. Patty's Day Parade, celebrations, and the most important of them all...Prom! At at least 3 different highschools. Why they did that on St. Patty's Day weekend beats me though.
This was my daughter's very first prom. I don't know who was more nervous about this, her or me? I also didn't realize how much work it was. God bless my mother and all she ever did for me! I never know how draining it could be to shop for the dress, shoes, jewelery and accessories. Not to mention getting hair done, spray tan and your nails too! And it was her getting all of this stuff done, not even me! Well, I did try the spray tanning though. I was tired of being a white marshmallow.
Well as you can see, for our(hers and mine) first time getting ready for prom. We did a pretty darn good job! She looked gorgeous and the "boyfriend" looked properly impressed! I've got to say that he looked great too!
I wasn't too sure about her wearing a red dress at her age, but she looked beautiful. I'm sorry my pictures are a little fuzzy. I think my "Mother's Tear's" got my lens wet.
Do you remember your first prom? Any good stories that you can share? Then share them!
