With All Due Respect, Mr. Pence…

After hearing Vice President Mike Pence talk about solutions to our drug problem I  must say, it was milquetoast. Tougher law enforcement and better addiction programs-- all Band-Aids. The drug problem must be fixed before we need law enforcement or addiction facilities. If we put as much emphasis on how terrible drugs are as we do on climate change in schools it would help. What about the new attitude in America about the legalization of recreational drugs? The drug problem must be attacked early before it becomes a problem. We are putting metal detectors in schools before there is an incident not after. Get to the root of the problem or you won't win the battle.
