5 Great Ways to Celebrate National Camping Month

June is National Camping Month! While I see no need to contain my joy for camping to one month, I'm glad there's an organized effort to promote how much fun you can have traveling and exploring this way.

1) Cute camping decor. I found these at Dillard's. (If you're more of an online shopper, check out these and these on Amazon!)

2) Make sure you have all your essential gear. This might not sound like a party, but forgetting something important or not being able to find it in a disorganized pack sure will ruin your party later. My top three things to have in your pack are navigation, sun protection and layers ... of course that is beside the need for food and water.

3) Learn a new "camping" hack. Even staying in a camper you can find yourself needing some fire starter, like this simple one you can make yourself.

4) Frame or make canvas prints of your favorite nature pics.
