Do People Still Clean Their Homes in Fall and Spring?

I talked to my mom the other day and she is in the middle of her fall cleaning. This week she has 16 windows and screens to clean. She said that she missed them this spring when spring cleaning. She's 90 now and I thought, do people even know what spring and fall cleaning is? Or, do people like Mark buy new windows when they get dirty and play golf.
