How Should We Be Using Public Lands?

The constant backlash about public lands and use is an everyday thing now. How come no one has raised hell about no dogs in Glacier National Park? They can't even be on a leash. That's what parks are for--to enjoy the outdoors, camp, fish, hike etc. But no dogs. Dogs are a part of most families. Maybe I don't like drunks, but they're still allowed in the parks...
