I’m Turning Into My Mother

I was always a 'chip off the old block.' I was just like my dad because I tried to be. I liked fast cars and Loni Anderson.

But lately, I'm noticing some unsettling things. First of all is memory loss. I drove to the grocery store the other day to get a couple of items, but I didn't write them down. So I ended up getting none of those items. But I DID get three things I didn't even need but were on sale.

I'm constantly misplacing my keys/phone/wallet.

Although I don't cut peoples' heads off in photographs like my mom is famous for, I can't help but notice how many photos I have on my phone I have of my thumb and feet.

Just call me Judy, I guess.
