Since January I've been working out regularly. I do an hour and 3 minutes of cardio in the morning and every 3 or 4 days I do pushups or push weights. For the better part of the first 6 months I started working out I was really good about watching what I ate but working here on the 23rd floor of the Crowne Plaza for Townsquare Media is a daily exercise (see how I did that) in avoiding sugary, rich, tasty, delectable, creamy, buttery, chocolaty, sweet snack foods. Throw in pot lucks and forget it.

First of all Jayne's Signature Sweets dropped by to provide us with their Halloween Iced Cookie leftovers on a GIANT tray. Second, our Assistant Business Manager, who holds us to task for every nickel and dime we spend, wanted to know where the leftover Halloween candy from Downtown Billings Halloween was (box pictured above). I thought she wanted the box to count up what was left... you know for efficiency sake so we know how much less to order than we did last year. Nooooooooooooo... turns out she was looking for the left over Baby Ruth's. Unfortunately for me there were multiple Reece's Peanut Butter Cups and Sour Patch licorice in that box.

Tomorrow it'll be somebody's birthday and I'll be forced to eat 5 pieces of German Chocolate Cake. Maybe just maybe if we celebrated NOTHING then we'd have to pay less for our health care premiums... just sayin'. I better shut up, my birthday is just around the corner. Lol.
