The pageantry, the skills, the competition! Are you ready for some rodeo action in Missoula? The University of Montana Spring Rodeo is set to take over the Missoula Fairgrounds for two nights at the end of April. To each their own when it comes to having a favorite part of the rodeo but I'll always have to give the nod to bull riding. It just takes an extra bit of crazy to voluntarily sit on top of one of those beasts fully knowing that its only mission is to toss you off! And you can bet that bull riding will be part of both nights of the rodeo at the fairgrounds.

The UM Spring Rodeo will be packed with excitement on Friday and Saturday, April 29 and 30 at 7:00 PM at the fairgrounds. It's sure to be a good time explains Dee Dee Gianchetta, President of Grizzly Rodeo Association:

There are 8 college rodeo teams and 9 events that showcase cowgirls and cowboys riding, roping and tying up some calves and goats.  The Bulls and the Broncs promise power and excitement with the goal of bucking off their riders before eight seconds!  Come out and cheer on the rodeo athletes!

If you're hungry for rodeo action but also just plain hungry, there'll be burgers and street tacos to go along with the return of the beer garden! And to add to the fun, Monte will be on hand with rodeo t-shirts to give away during Saturday night's event.
