Billings Welcomes Chick-Fil-A on Jan 19th for Grand Opening Day
It's almost here, chicken lovers! Chick-Fil-A will be officially open to the public on January 19th, at 670 S. 24th Street West. If you are looking for your fix of great chicken, not much longer to wait now!
Local Heros Recognized
On opening day, Chick-Fil-A Billings plans to celebrate 100 local heroes that have made impacts here in the local community. They'll be presenting these heroes with Chick-Fil-A Meals For A Year Passes!
Also, Chick-Fil-A Billings is donating $25,000 to Feeding America to aid in the fight against hunger in our local community.
Locally Owned And Community Focused
Chick-Fil-A is a franchise-based business and locally owned by Lee Lewis. Lee is from Georgia, with a deep background in forestry with a love for the outdoors. Lee owned a forestry and landscaping company for seven years before starting his Chick-Fil-A journey. In 2022, Lee moved to Billings and now looks to serve the community as the owner/operator of Chick-Fil-A.
In addition to the $25,000 donation to Feeding America, Chick-Fil-A Billings is participating in the "Chick-Fil-A Shared Table" program. This program is an initiative that redirects surplus food from the restaurant to local soup kitchens, shelters, food banks, and nonprofits in need!
Today, Chick-Fil-A sent along details and plans for the opening day. As you may, or may not, know... Chick-Fil-A is a UBER popular restaurant. It is famous for mega lines everywhere one is built... and the Billings Police Department's off-duty officers, mixed with traffic control, plan to keep this event handled. Here's what YOU need to know:
- All Chick-Fil-A guests should enter from the stoplight at King Avenue and 26th Street, near Rocky Mountain Bank. Then, you'll take a right at the south end of the neighboring Walmart Parking Lot.
- Guests who want the drive-thru will be directed by an off-duty officer to snake through the two Easternmost lanes of the Walmart parking lot, and then back North toward Chick-Fil-A.
- If you'd like to dine in, guests will bypass the drive-thru queue and take a left to go North toward Chick-Fil-A Billings.
- Off-duty BPD officers will be stationed at two locations to assist with queue flow and make sure visitors to surrounding businesses are not impacted.
