Lucky’s Market Gives Lunch To Government Employees

Today, we got news that the government will reopen.  Although it is potentially a temporary (3 week) situation, it does mean that many government employees will be receiving some much needed relief in the form of the paychecks that they had already earned.

Today I stopped into Lucky's to grab a few things and saw they were doing a Community Lunch free of charge for government employees. I thought this was a nice gesture and deserved some recognition.  Regardless of politics, not getting paid for work you've done isn't right, and I'm happy to see a business showing some support to these employees.
