Marijuana is a Gateway Drug [Opinion]

I don't smoke pot.

And, in my circle of friends, I have a credit union vice president, a Christian radio station manager, a computer guru with a big bank, a pastor, a drywall worker, an oilfield boss and numerous others who are productive members of society. None are pot smokers.

I know the arguments from those who supposedly need it for pain management. But, you're never going to sell me on the legalization of it. Marijuana is a gateway drug. Plain and simple.

If you can give me the benefits of legal pot for kids to get easier access, I'd like to hear your argument. I believe that those who want pot are already getting it. Legalizing it will hurt more people than it will help.
