
Billings PD Seeks Assistance Locating Two Young Runaways
UPDATE: Both boys have been found safe.
The Billings Police Department is asking the public to be on the lookout for two juvenile males who reportedly ran away from a youth facility Friday morning (6/13). According to a BPD Facebook post, the missing children are 13-year-old Kaleb Vogel and 11-year-old David Brown.
Both of the boys were reported missing at 8 AM Friday after they fled on foot from a New Day facility on the 1700 block of Lapman Drive in Billings. The police department asks that if you see them or have any information that could help locate them, please call the non-emergency police line at 657-8200.

The search continues for Ashlyn Tyler.
Authorities and family members are still searching for another New Day runaway teen, Ashlyn Tyler. Tyler, age 16, was reported missing on May 30, 2025. She is likely somewhere in the Billings area. If you have seen her, please contact the BPD non-emergency line at 657-8200.
According to the Montana Department of Justice's Missing Persons Database, there are currently 31 minors missing in Montana, ranging from age 3 to 17 years old. While heartbreaking, DOJ statistics indicate that missing persons in Montana are located at a rate of nearly 99% and that 73% of all persons reported missing in the state in 2023 were resolved within one week.
