Paul’s Puppy Breaks His Foot, Paul is Now the One in the Doghouse

There was a traumatic incident yesterday at Mushaben Farms.  The 5 month old family puppy was riding in the back of the family pickup, when he jumped out, got his foot caught and had to be taken to the vet.  Turns out the poor little guy broke his foot.  Sadly, that means Paul is the one living in the doghouse now.

If you think the accident was hard on the dog, you should have seen how hard it was for Paul's better half.  Had Paul broken his foot, he would not have received anything close to the sympathy that the puppy got.

And, of course, it's all Paul's fault.  Sure, Paul was on the tractor and his lovely wife was driving the pickup.  Still, the blame lies squarely on Paul's shoulders for attaching a flat bed trailer to the truck.

Luckily, the dog's gonna be ok.  He's got a boot on his foot now and he's hurting a little bit. He did learn a valuable lesson.  It's hard for a dog to poop with a cast on his leg.  He was teeter tottering for a while there, but he figured it out.  Paul was proud.
