Run For Ryan Is Sunday
We it comes to special causes, it's really hard to beat this one. According to the CDC there were about 3,700 sudden unexpected infant deaths (SUID) in the United States in 2015. Obviously that number changes from year to year, but it is always a very sad experience.
These deaths occur among infants less than 1 year old and have no immediately obvious cause.
This Sunday, we Run For Ryan. Ryan Paul Walter was a happy and healthy baby in October 2010 when his life was cut short at 2 months by Sudden Infant Death Syndrome. This is and affliction that claims the lives of over 2,000 otherwise healthy babies and leaves families devastated and medical professionals confounded.
Join us at Scheels at 1121 Shiloh Crossing Blvd. Billings for the annual 5k and 10k Run For Ryan on Sunday at 8am.
Registration is $20 and 100% of proceeds go to the National Sudden Infant Death Syndrome Foundation. Every participant gets a T Shirt and Swag Bag as an appreciation for supporting this important foundation.
