Ryan Dam

This morning I re-posted an aerial photo of Ryan Dam because it's a view of it that I'd never seen before.

Ryan Dam is a great little spot to spend a few hours. Now, the drive out to it from Great Falls doesn't LOOK like you're heading into a garden spot. But, once you start the descent towards the river, you'll appreciate the time you spent getting there.

This time of year, when the river is running high is a great time to visit.

It's located about 12 miles or 20 minutes north of Great Falls.
