School Closures For Friday (12/16)

Major snow piling up in and around the Magic City has caused many school closures for today. We received so many messages from school officials and want to thank all of you for keeping us informed.

Closures today include:

• Billings School District 2 has canceled all extracurricular activities through Saturday.
• Billings Catholic Schools will be closed Friday.
• Rapelje School will be closed Friday.
• Lockwood schools will be closed Friday.
• Laurel Public Schools will be closed Friday.
• Billings Christian Schools will be closed Friday.
• Huntley Project schools will be closed Friday.
• Hardin Public Schools will be closed Friday.
• Boys and Girls Clubs of Yellowstone County will be closed Friday.
• Shepherd Schools will be closed.
• Trinity Lutheran School will be closed Friday.
• Independent School will be closed Friday.
• Blue Creek School will be closed Friday.
• Pioneer Elementary School will be closed Friday.
• Elysian School will be closed Friday.
• Elder Grove School will be closed Friday.
• Canyon Creek School District will be closed Friday.
• Park City Schools will be closed on Friday.  Basketball games at Harlowton have been rescheduled for Wednesday, Dec. 21.
• Columbus Schools will be closed on Friday.
• Ryegate School will be closed Friday.
• Lavina School will be closed Friday.
• Broadview School will be closed Friday.
• Big Timber Elementary School and Sweet Grass County High School in Big Timber have cancelled classes for Friday.
• Morin School District 17 will be closed Friday.
• Grace Montessori Academy will be closed Friday.
• Lame Deer Public Schools will be closed Friday.
• St. Labre Catholic Schools will be closed Friday.
• School is canceled on Friday, Dec. 16 for St. Labre, St. Charles and Lodge Grass Preschool.
• There will be no athletic events or practices, including the games scheduled for Thursday night and Saturday. Practice will resume on Monday.
• Harlowton schools will be closed on Friday.
• Wyola School will be closed Friday.
• Northern Cheyenne Tribal School in Busby will be closed Friday.
• Northern Cheyenne Head Start Program will be closed Friday. School and bus runs resume Tuesday, Dec. 20.
• Lodge Grass schools will be open but there will be no bus service.
• The Baker vs Lame Deer basketball game has been postponed.
