Poverty, homelessness and addiction is more prevalent in Billings than you may think.  Join The Downtown Billings Alliance and Back Country Chiropractic as they present the 7th Annual Purple 5K on Sunday, April 3 in Downtown Billings.

The Purple 5K raises money for Spare Change for Real Change, Downtown’s non-profit that works to end homelessness, poverty and addiction in Billings.

The race will begin at 9 a.m. Sunday morning at Grandview Park and proceeds through Pioneer Park and the historic district in downtown Billings.

The race continues from the MSU Billings campus, through the medical corridor and concludes under Sky Point. Participants can register at runsignup.com.

Race registration and race packet pickup is on Friday, April 1st at the Downtown Billings office at 2815 Second Ave. N. from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. or the morning of the race from 7:30 a.m. to am -8:50am at Grandview Park.

Race participants can ride the free shuttle from downtown to the starting point.

Participating Businesses in Downtown Billings will offer special discounts for race participants on both Friday and Saturday with their race bib.
