See ‘Best in Show’ Highlights From the Westminster Dog Show
The Westminster Dog show, which is a lot like the Super Bowl for dog owners and possibly their pets too, already has its list of who could win the coveted title of "Best in Show."
To start off our canine contenders recap, the first pooch to win in the 2013 Westminster Dog Show was an American Foxhound named Pandora's Box for the "Best of the Hounds" group. Next up was the Toy group, which includes breeds such as Pugs and Pomeranians. A Miniature Affenpinscher named Banana Joe V Tani Kazari won for the "Best of the Toy" group, beating out a cute Pug named Tag I'm It, who wowed the crowd by being utterly adorable but sadly only won fourth place.
A spunky male Bichon Frise named Pillowtalk will be stiff competition for the aforementioned dogs as he won the "Best of the Non-Sporting" group which includes breeds from French Poodles to the American Bulldog. To round it out, an Old English Sheepdog named Swagger could very well win "Best in Show," as he kicked out all the other competitors for the Herding Group.
Tune in to the USA Network tonight from 8-11p.m. to find out which adorable pups will earn top marks in the Sporting, Working and Terrier groups. They will also be announcing who won the coveted 'Best in Show' title as well--so be sure to watch and see if your favorite pooch won! In the meantime, check out photos of some of the winners and contenders below.
