You Could Have Your Own Garage Sale But You’ll Make A Lot More $$$ At Billings Biggest Garage Sale
About once per year when my family and I get ready to sell the old stuff taking up space in the garage, we get really excited as we start to add up the value of everything in our minds. Then, after a bit of rudimentary math, we calculate that even if we get half of what we ask for for everything, that we could generate $300 to $400 -- if we sold it all. Therein lies the problem -- selling everything. Not easy to do.
I've spent many Saturdays during my adult life waiting after the initial rush of early birds, for someone, anyone, to stop by and look at my crap. As they say, one man's trash is another man's treasure. But watching people slow roll in their cars up to my garage sale to see if there's anything "good" from the comfortable confines of their automobile only to take off is sooo frustrating.
That's why we created Billings Biggest Garage Sale on June 20 at MetraPark. For just $30, residential booth fee, you can reserve a 20-foot by 20-foot space to get rid of your old sports gear, baby clothes, video games or whatever else you have to sell.
Since there will be 100 or more booths and people will pay a small $3 admission fee, you will have a captive audience -- no slow rollers here -- and heavy, constant traffic. You can be sure everything you have to offer will be seen by a far bigger crowd than you can get to come to your house -- even if you have the best crafted telephone pole sign.
